3 Month Old Lucy

Lucy's 3 month photos were taken by photographer Erin Duggin on a very dreary winter day in the Lafayette Park neighborhood.She refused to smile and was just getting over her first cold so she was a tad crabby, but the pictures still were beautiful. The last couple shots she was passed out asleep.

So clearly we need to catch you eveyone up on what has happened in the past month....













The Packers won the Super Bowl and Lucy was part of our Super Bowl party cheering them on. Maggie and Patrick, Kahre, Kevin and Nate came over for a nacho bar and red velvet cupcakes. Yum! The game was a good one but it was the "dancing boxes" at the halftime show with the Black Eyed Peas that really excited Lucy. Not to mention the Darth Vader Volkswagen commercial.

Our New Year's Resolution

This is something that we have wanted to do since Lucy, our 3 and a half month old was born back in October, but as with all things surrounding parenthood, it took longer than expected. Many people have complained that they never see pictures and since they refuse to join Facebook this is our way of bringing Lucy to the masses. This is our family blog and lets be honest it will largely be about Lucy, our daughter and her Woof-Woofs Dakota (our German Shepherd - Welsh Corgi mix) and Amika (our German Shepherd- Rottweiler-???? mix), our other daughters. Our lives are not particularly crazy now but who knows what the next year will bring.
